Der Mantel besteht aus einem Paar Blechen mit variabler Dicke, von 8+8 Zehntel bis zu 30+30 Zehntel, je nach Betriebsdruck und -temperatur; die Bleche sind in regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen, abwechselnden Abst\u00e4nden punktgeschwei\u00dft (Hochfrequenzschwei\u00dfung mit hoher Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit) und an den Au\u00dfenr\u00e4ndern TIG-geschwei\u00dft; der Konditionierungsmantel wird durch Aufblasen der beiden W\u00e4nde mit einem Druck von 12\/18 bar hergestellt, nachdem er zuvor auf eine Form (Kern) mit dem Durchmesser und der Form des zu umh\u00fcllenden Tanks gelegt wurde. Nach dem Aufblasen erzeugt der Konditionierungsmantel abgerundete Waben mit einer sehr hohen Austauscheffizienz. Er muss direkt auf den Zylinder des Tanks aufgebracht werden, um perfekt an der Wand zu haften und so eine hochwirksame Kontaktfl\u00e4che zu schaffen. Er ist mit Ein- und Auslassgewinden sowie obligatorischen Rezirkulationswegen f\u00fcr die Konditionierungsfl\u00fcssigkeit ausgestattet, je nach Verwendungszweck. Der Mantel besteht aus einem Doppelblech, einem inneren und einem \u00e4u\u00dferen. Das \u00e4u\u00dfere Blech hat eine variable Dicke von 10 bis 15 Zehntel, je nach Betriebstemperatur und -druck, und wird vor dem Bau des Tanks direkt auf die flachen Bleche des Zylinders aufgebracht. Das innere Blech ist die Tankwand, die mit der Fl\u00fcssigkeit in Kontakt steht.
